| September 2011: Bloomfield House Community Centre has been awarded £1500 towards an energy project for coming runners up in the Welsh Government's Climate Change Challenge competition. Pontrobert Village Hall in Powys were the overall winners and the awards were presented on the19th September at Bridges Community Centre in Monmouth by Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development John Griffiths. Thanks to all Bloomfield users who were involved with the challenge and lets continue the good work by reducing our energy use even more! | August 2011: Recent fundraising activities were a great success and the quiz night and terrier and lurcher racing raised approximately £800 for the associations fund to build a new community and sports hall at Bloomfield. | May 2011: Fundraising events coming soon include The Ultimate Quiz Night at Narberth Rugby Club on Friday 8th July and Terrier Racing on Friday 29th July during Narberth Civic Week. A mid summer programme of activities taking place at the centre will be available in late June. The new 2011/12 Bloomfield Brochure is available in August and will be delivered to homes in the local area. |

| 5/11/10 Welsh Assembly Government Environment Minister Jane Davidson returned to Bloomfield on Thursday 4th November to discuss the centre's progress with the Climate Change Challenge, a WAG initiative established to encourage individuals and groups to cut their carbon consumption. Bloomfield is in competition with two other Welsh community centres. The winner of the challenge is the centre that reduces its carbon footprint the most over a year. The Minister met staff and users of the centre including the junior netball group and children from Bloomfield After School Club had prepared a display of art work depicting how they will reduce their energy use. The Minister also took part in a question and answer session with users and NDCSA committee members in the Brynmor Evans Resource Centre. |

The Bloomfield Concert took place on September 24th at Bloomfield House Community Centre. The concert featured performances by Dyfed Choir, Cor Meibion de Cymru and Thurston Woodwind. We would like to thank all of those involved and everyone who came along for a fanastic night of musical entertainment. |

| Bloomfield's annual Open Evening took place on Thursday 23rd September. Representatives from many of the centre's education and activity groups were in attendance and the Brynmor Evans Resource Centre was bustling with new and exsisting students. Learning Pembrokeshire's Art For All students displayed their work in an art exhibition and refreshments were enjoyed by everyone. |

| The Air Dome Replacement Fund now stands at approximately £7350 and fundraisng activities to date have included the Bloomfield Ball, an Auction of Promises, a Horse Racing Night and a concert with Dyfed Choir, Cor Meibion de Cymru & Thurston Woodwind. A fundraising football tournament will take place in the spring. |
